Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 6 fresh mint leaves, gently clapped before placing in the glass
  • 1 large mint sprig, for garnish
  • 1 ounce elderflower syrup
  • 4 ounces non-alcoholic prosecco or alcohol-free sparkling white wine
  • 1 ounce soda water
  • 2 lime slices or lime wheels
  • Lots of ice

Instructions

  • Fill a large wine glass with lots of ice.
  • Gently rub the mint leaves between your hands to release their aroma, then place them in the glass along with the lime slices.
  • Pour in the elderflower syrup.
  • Slowly add the non-alcoholic prosecco or sparkling white wine.
  • Top with soda water.
  • Garnish with a large mint sprig and additional lime if desired.  Serve immediately while perfectly icy and bubbly ✨

Notes

  • Use lots of ice for the most refreshing and authentic spritz experience. An extra cold glass makes a big difference in this drink.
  • Gently clapping the mint before adding it to the glass helps release the fresh mint aroma without bruising the leaves.
  • Add the soda water just before serving to keep the bubbles crisp and lively.
  • A dry, non-alcoholic prosecco or sparkling white wine works best to balance the sweetness of the elderflower syrup.
  • For entertaining, prep the mint, lime, and elderflower syrup ahead of time, then add the sparkling ingredients right before guests arrive.
  • This mocktail is especially beautiful served in large wine glasses with fresh mint sprigs and thin lime wheels ✨
