Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 ounce peach syrup (from canned peaches)
  • 2 ounces alcohol-free tequila (such as Ritual Zero Proof)
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce agave syrup
  • 1/2 ounce non-alcoholic orange liqueur
  • Ice, for shaking and serving

For Garnish

  • Fresh peach slices or canned peach slices
  • Gold cocktail skewer
  • Lime wedge (optional)
  • Coarse salt or sugar for the rim (optional)

Low Sugar Option

For a lower-sugar version, use peaches packed in juice instead of heavy syrup and replace the agave with a sugar-free simple syrup or liquid monk fruit sweetener. You can also choose a sugar-free non-alcoholic orange liqueur, if available. Adjust the sweetness to taste based on your peaches' ripeness and your preferred level of sweetness.

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add the peach syrup, alcohol-free tequila, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and non-alcoholic orange liqueur.
  • Shake well until thoroughly chilled.
  • Fill a margarita or rocks glass with fresh ice.
  • Strain the mocktail over the ice.
  • Garnish with peach slices on a gold skewer and a lime wedge, if desired.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Fresh lime juice provides the brightest flavor and creates a more authentic margarita taste than lemon juice.
  • Ritual Zero Proof tequila alternative is our favorite for this recipe, but use your preferred alcohol-free tequila substitute.
  • For a lower-sugar version, use peaches packed in juice and swap the agave for a sugar-free simple syrup or liquid monk fruit sweetener.
  • Adjust the sweetness to taste depending on how sweet your peach syrup is.
  • Fresh peach slices make a beautiful garnish in summer, while canned peaches work well year-round.
  • To make this mocktail ahead, combine all ingredients except the ice and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Shake with ice just before serving.
  • For a frozen version, blend the ingredients with 1 to 1½ cups of ice until smooth.
  • A salted rim adds a classic margarita touch, while a sugar rim enhances the peach flavor.
