This Cranberry Gin Mocktail is crisp, citrusy, and wonderfully sophisticated. Fresh lime juice, tart cranberry juice, and botanical non-alcoholic gin come together for a beautifully balanced drink that’s refreshing enough for summer yet elegant enough for holiday entertaining. Served ice cold in a chilled martini glass, it’s a vibrant ruby-red mocktail that’s as stunning as it is delicious.

I was honestly surprised by just how delicious this Cranberry Gin Mocktail turned out. It has the crisp, botanical flavor and balanced tartness of a classic cocktail, yet it’s completely alcohol-free. Steve and I both took one sip and looked at each other—it genuinely tastes like something you’d order at a great cocktail bar. It’s refreshing, sophisticated, and one of those recipes we’ll definitely be making again.

Why You’ll Love This Cranberry Gin Mocktail

  • 🍸 Elegant and restaurant-worthy – Served in a chilled martini glass, this cranberry gin mocktail feels like something you’d order at an upscale cocktail bar.
  • ❤️ Perfect year-round – Its bright cranberry and fresh lime flavors are wonderfully refreshing in warm weather, while the rich ruby color makes it equally beautiful for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s celebrations.
  • 🌿 Crisp botanical flavor – Non-alcoholic gin adds layers of juniper, citrus, and herbs that pair beautifully with tart cranberry juice and fresh lime.

🌿 Why I Love Ritual Zero Proof Gin

I’ve tried several non-alcoholic gins, and Ritual Zero Proof Gin remains one of my favorites. It has a distinctly herbal, botanical flavor with classic juniper and citrus notes that are surprisingly reminiscent of traditional gin.

When it’s thoroughly chilled and shaken into a mocktail, it develops a crisp, sophisticated flavor that’s beautifully balanced rather than overly sweet. It adds the complexity and nuance you’d expect from a well-crafted cocktail, making drinks like this Cranberry Gin Mocktail feel truly special.

If you’re new to alcohol-free spirits or looking to elevate your mocktail game, Ritual is an excellent place to start. It’s become a staple in my home bar, and I reach for it whenever I want to create an elegant, restaurant-quality mocktail.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Non-alcoholic gin (We love Ritual Non-Alcoholic Gin)
  • Fresh limes
  • Cranberry juice
  • Agave syrup
  • Ice
martini glass of cranberry gin mocktail

Ingredient Notes and Substitutions

  • Non-Alcoholic Gin: Choose a botanical-style alcohol-free gin with notes of juniper and citrus. We love Ritual Zero Proof, but several excellent brands work beautifully.
  • Fresh Lime Juice: Freshly squeezed makes all the difference. Bottled juice won’t have the same bright, crisp flavor.
  • Cranberry Juice: Use 100% cranberry juice for a tart, sophisticated cocktail, or cranberry juice cocktail if you prefer a sweeter drink.
  • Agave: Adds just enough sweetness to balance the lime and cranberry without overpowering the drink. *You can also substitute simple syrup.

Sugar-Free Version

You can substitute sugar free cranberry juice and swap out the agave syrup. Alternative ideas we have tested.

  • Sugar-free simple syrup (my favorite for the cleanest flavor)
  • Liquid monk fruit sweetener
  • Liquid stevia (start with a small amount and adjust)

How To Make a Holiday Cranberry Mocktail

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  2. Add the non-alcoholic gin, fresh lime juice, cranberry juice, and agave syrup.
  3. Shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds until well chilled.
  4. Strain into two chilled martini glasses.
  5. Garnish with a lime twist, fresh cranberries, or a sprig of rosemary and serve immediately.

Serving and Garnish Tips

  • Fresh Cranberries
  • Lime wheel
  • Lime twist
  • Rosemary sprig (holiday)
  • Sugared cranberries (Christmas)
  • Frozen cranberries instead of ice cubes

  • Yield: 2-3 1x
  • Category: Mocktails
  • Method: Shaken
  • Cuisine: American
  • Diet: non-alcoholic

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 ounces non-alcoholic gin
  • 4 ounces fresh lime juice (about 4 limes)
  • 4 ounces cranberry juice
  • 2 ounces agave syrup
  • Ice
  • Fresh cranberries, lime twists, or rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill two martini glasses in the freezer for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  3. Add the non-alcoholic gin, fresh lime juice, cranberry juice, and agave syrup.
  4. Shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds until well chilled.
  5. Strain into the chilled martini glasses.
  6. Garnish with fresh cranberries, a lime twist, or a sprig of rosemary, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh lime juice. Freshly squeezed lime juice gives this mocktail its bright, crisp flavor.
  • Choose your cranberry juice. Unsweetened 100% cranberry juice creates a tarter cocktail, while cranberry juice cocktail makes it slightly sweeter.
  • Adjust the sweetness. Add a little more or less agave depending on your taste and the type of cranberry juice you use.
  • Serve ice cold. Chilling both the cocktail and the martini glasses makes a noticeable difference.
  • Make ahead. Mix the non-alcoholic gin, lime juice, cranberry juice, and agave up to 24 hours in advance. Refrigerate, then shake with fresh ice just before serving.
  • Pitcher version. Easily double or triple the recipe for entertaining and shake individual servings with ice before pouring. We find guests always want seconds.
