Lately, this has been one of my favorite “pour and pause” drinks — something simple, pretty, and just a little special that instantly shifts the mood without needing anything complicated.

I was inspired to make this mocktail after photographing Sonoma’s lavender gardens. I hope you love it as much as I do!

- We love Lavender Syrup from Sonoma Syrup Company
- You can also serve with a delicious sparkling non-alcoholic white wine instead of sparkling water.
How To Make a Grapefruit Lavender Mocktail
- Juice fresh grapefruit and strain to remove pulp.
- Crush (muddle) mint in the bottom of a cocktail shaker until you release the bright mint aroma.
- Add Lavender syrup.
- Add grapefruit juice and shake until combined. Add sparkling water or sparkling n/a white wine and stir.
- Divide between two glasses of ice and garnish with a fresh grapefruit slice and sprig of mint. We love putting the grapefruit slice in the glass first, then adding ice.
- This is an excellent mocktail to make in a pitcher.

You can easily turn this grapefruit lavender spritz mocktail into a beautiful pitcher drink for gatherings.
- Add fresh mint to the bottom of a pitcher and gently muddle to release the aroma 🌿
- Pour in high-quality grapefruit juice and your lavender syrup
- Stir and chill until ready to serve
- Just before serving, add ice and top with non-alcoholic sparkling white wine or sparkling water for a signature spritz.
- Chill glasses if possible.
👉 For best results, always add the sparkling element right before serving to keep it fresh and bubbly.

Ingredients
- 2 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
- 2 oz. lavender syrup
- 10 mint leaves
- 4 oz. sparkling water (or more to taste)
- ice
Instructions
- Juice fresh grapefruit and strain to remove pulp. You can also use store-bought grapefruit juice.
- Lightly crush or muddle the mint until you release the bright aroma in the bottom of a cocktail shaker, until you smell the mint flavor.
- Add Lavender syrup.
- Add grapefruit juice and shake or stir until combined. Add sparkling water and stir again.
- Divide between two glasses filled to the top with ice and garnish with a fresh grapefruit slice and sprig of mint. We love to put the grapefruit slice in the glass first, then add ice.
- This is an excellent mocktail to make in a pitcher.
Notes
This non-alcoholic drink is also delicious with simple syrup or a tablespoon of agave syrup instead of lavender. However, we think the lavender makes this drink the perfect mocktail!
